More info on our services & meetings: Each service is open to everyone, even Sunday School. During Sunday School the little ones ages birth-teens will go back to their own classrooms & be taught age appropriate lessons. Meanwhile, the adults will enjoy their own Sunday School meeting, lead by Brother Ray Boone, and read over the monthly lessons together. This is a great time to share your thoughts & things that relate to the lesson! The Worship Service will immediately follow Sunday School. The Sunday night meeting is similar to the Sunday morning service, but not as long. Youth Group meets during this service, more info on the Youth Night page. The Wednesday Prayer Meeting/Bible Study is the night we get together to pray for each other, and our loved ones, and to study God's Word. All of these services contain Prayer, Music, Laughter, Tears, The Word, Testimony, and GREAT Fellowship!
Offerings & Donations: You do not have to give anything during the offerings if you do not want to. We understand that some of us just can't afford to give much, and that's just fine. All that matters is that you are here, and you are part of our family! If anyone ever needs help financially please let us know, and we will do our best to help you in any way possible. None of us are rich, and we all know what it's like to have hard times! Don't forget to check out the old Bethlehem/Slickaway page on the LINKS page. I have added photos, and information about the pioneer church that was located off of 763, on Stringtown Rd., a.k.a. Slickaway.
Secret Sisters: We do a Secret Sisters activity here, you do not have to join, but it's a very rewarding experience! We each fill out a paper, stating our birthdays & anniversary's, also our favorites. We then get assigned a Secret Sister, whom you will be able to secretly send cards to, or bring gifts for. If you would like to do this please let us know at the end of each year!

Keep going for three miles: One for the Father, One for the Son and One for the Holy Spirit. Exit off onto "Grace Blvd." From there, make a Right turn on "Gospel Lane ." Keep straight and then make another Right onto "Prayer Road ." As you travel on your way, Yield Not to the traffic on "Temptation Ave." Also, avoid "Sin Street" because it is a DEAD END!! Pass up "Envy Drive," and "Hate Avenue." Also, pass "Hypocrisy Road," "Gossiping Lane," and "Backbiting Blvd." However, you must go down "Long Suffering Lane", "Persecution Street" and "Trials and Tribulations Avenue." | "Love is to the heart what the summer is to the farmer's year. It brings to harvest all the loveliest flowers of the soul." - Billy Graham |
Garden Of Delight When I am down, Or when I feel blue. I go to my garden, Where everything is fresh; All so lovely and new.. Some perennials for shade, And some for sunlight. Give off such magnificent color, Oh what pure delight.. The chirping of the birds, Along with the buzzing of the bees. Blend nature's harmony, Into such sweet melodies.. Up above there are White clouds and blue skies; In the air I see the gentle flutter Of colorful butterflies. Rows of flowers Roses and trees; The wind upon my face Like a warm summer breeze. My garden is tranquil With much joy and bliss; The sweet whispers of softness I never want to miss. So to my garden I go From day to day; Seeing the beauty of God's love, Melts all of my troubles away.

Summer is a wonderful time with lush and lovely flowers God's sprinkling system sends heavenly raindrop showers Bee's pollinate the flowers and make honey Birds feed their young and chirp when they're hungry Gardner's and farmers cultivate their flowers and crops Evening bunnies romp and certain eves have moonlit props Each and every season God's new miracles begin In all God's creations we can see Christ within Miraculous gift of life even in the smallest detail Whether it's a huge tree or in a tiny snail Veins in the leaves, petals of flowers Winding creeks and wondrous tomorrows Hot humid days to swim in ponds Trickling water sounds Taste the berries Scent that carries All in summertime.
Summer sunshine makes me feel good, I would live in my yard if only I could! My flowers taking special turns to bloom, Beauty surrounds me in my wondrous outside room. I sit at my umbrella covered table in awe... Baby blue skies, with cotton candy clouds afar. My precious hummingbirds are a sight to see, They dip into their nectar; Then hover close...as if to thank me. Suddenly a soothing breeze kisses my face, So tranquil as the leaves rustle here in my special place The sparrows feed their babies; soon they'll take flight again. But I won't fret, for a new bird family will return to visit me then. Our Lord designed this world of beauty by His choice. The birds, the bees, the flowers and the trees, I bet all come to life...at the sound of His voice. OH WHAT BEAUTY TO REJOICE!
The August moon is beaming down It keenly seems to say Enjoy my warm rays while you can Before they slip away. Splendid is a leisurely stroll On a dog day afternoon Star studded is the evening sky Beneath the August moon. Nature is at its finest Summer has reached its peak It is time to store sweet memories As autumn skies turn bleak. Oh, August moon so fair and true One thing that I must know Why must you take the summer sun And roses when you go.

The Swan As I was sitting by the lake I saw birds leaping over the rainbow Then I saw the most beautiful bird gliding It was the pure white swan I know Only last year it was an ugly ducking It came to feed from my hand Now I see it radiating charm, Like a ballerina With graceful wings out spanned I hear her song when she comes near Her elegance, the ripple of the water Which dances full of the beauty Of this lone swan, Who's life is calm God created the beauty of His heart When the swan came to be.

A gentle voice is calling me From somewhere in the night It speaks to me of a far away home And God's everlasting light. God whispers to me so subtly Each new day I arise Life is sweet but can't compete With my home in paradise. God sent his own beloved son To set the people free Jesus died so I might live With Him eternally. Through Jesus I am forgiven Even though at times I stray I'm closest to my Savior When I'm on my knees to pray. In the presence of the Blessed One Someday I'll pass away I'll lay aside this earthly pride And shed this tent of clay. With angel wings I will mount up To soar in sacred places Beyond the earth, the moon and stars To the land of holy graces. A glorious home awaits for me When life on earth is done A heavenly voice will softly call In the land beyond the sun. |
God's Rainbows Rainbows appear after mighty storms, When things look their very worst. Just when skies are darkest gray, Look for the rainbow first. The rainbow is a sign of God's promise, That He will guide us through any storm. That He will see us through all our troubles, No matter what their form. When you feel battered by Life's storms, And you are filled with doubt and dismay, Just remember God's rainbow will come, For it's only a prayer away.
